22st – Travel from Coeur D’alene Idaho to Seattle WA – to perform at Goorin Bro Hat Shop – Pikes Place Market  Location.  It was a 5 hour drive and we made it to Seattle right before our concert at Goorin Bros started. Talk about rolling up the the venue. We had a great pop-up performance and had everyone sign The Unity Car and talked alot about why Unity and inclusivity is more important now than ever.

The black and white photo below we took on our way from Idaho to Seattle. We snapped it near the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington.

23nd – Carrie + Audrey House Concert Seattle

That night was magical. It was our friend Carries birthday party turned into house concert.  A catering company brought in tons of Mexican foods, friends brought food, and  there was a unicorn cake. This group was GLBT friendly and LOVED the concept of The Unity Collective USA. They poured love and support into this project, it was a special night. The next morning we awoke to the smell of gluten free pancakes

When we began our journey with The Unity Collective USA back in October of 2015, we had no idea how it was all going to work out, where we were going to sleep at night, how crazy life was going to get. From tears of uncertainty to the heights of a standing ovation – it has been a whirlwind night after night.

Now, as I sit here with a copy of today’s Alaska Dispatch News with our picture on the front page, an interview on KTVA 11 News KTVA 11’s Daybreak, and then with KNBA 90.3 FM this morning – I am thoroughly exhausted, yet fully invigorated. Nathaniel and I realize now – six months later – this mystery was not ours to understand.

It is in this uncertainty that we have grown and had some of the most surreal life experiences. From NYC to AK – we are only beginning and it has already been a journey of a lifetime, all in the name of unity and peace. I have grown so much. On this day I celebrate the uncertainty of our lives together and I celebrate you. Every single person who has been a supporter and follower to this miraculous journey across the U.S. Music, community, and collaboration. Life is good… Shine ON!
